Where to start?

Commissioning a piece of bespoke jewellery can be daunting. Throughout the commission I will ensure you are part of each step.

Each commission begins with a meeting to discuss your ideas, designs, deadline and budget – along with any other requirements – to turn your ideas into the perfect bespoke piece of fine jewellery.

You may already have a clear idea of what you have in mind or perhaps you would like some guidance. This is my job to help you through this stage and offer inspiration and suggestions.

The initial meeting can be in MY studio, over the phone or we can arrange traveling to meet.

 Budget

There is a misconception that bespoke costs more.

This isn’t the case. I will work to the budget you have in mind and can find ways of creating a statement piece that suits. Making recommendations with the design and suggest stones accordingly to fit your requirements.

If you don’t know where to begin, I will guide you – offering options and advice to help you decide the right stones and metal that fit the budget.

The Design

Once the budget is set and the initial ideas have been talked over, I will put pencil to paper and draw up some designs to show you.

With these designs we can then refine and amend. Sometimes we will need to make a number of changes to get the design right. It is part of the process and a great way to eliminate ideas and narrow down the choice.

If you are internationally based or unable to visit the Holborn studio, we can communicate via email.

Please do get in contact, we can have a chat and talk through your designs or ideas.

Stones

I will source a selection of diamonds or coloured gemstones for you to choose from, to suit your requirements and budget.

All our gemstones are sourced from trusted suppliers in the UK and Europe. I can use Certified diamonds that are guaranteed to be conflict-free.

Once the design and stones have been agreed, we will take a non-refundable deposit (usually 50%) before we start making.
